Trio Education website collects and stores registration and login information from the users (school admin and the students). The information is used to keep the users synced with the services, help them access the features, apply security rules and keep the customers informed about the latest updates. The information collected from the school and the students at sign up/ students management may include the following:

• School’s address, location and fence radius
• Opening and closing time

• Geolocation Data (Precise Location):
  • Trio Student uses background location checks to see if student’s device is within the designated school geofence.
  • Entering the geofence activates digital wellbeing features like screen time limits and website filters to promote focus during school hours. Exiting the geofence deactivates these features for BYOD devices.
  • Location data is only used for geofence checks and not tracked outside school.
